I spent a great deal of my childhood living by the sea in Gibraltar, Cornwall, Scotland and Malta.  Now I live 100 miles from  the coast and try to visit the coastlines of the far West and  North of Cornwall and North Norfolk and the waterways of Leicestershire to draw or paint as often as I can. 

I am interested in the edges - the edge of the land, beaches and cliffs, expanses of wet sand, constantly changing with the tide and the contrasts as one thing changes to another.
